I do like Sweden for this, this or that. But Covenant is soo… flat. Those scary future-synth-pop-ambient tunes are kinda silly. Not 2 silly for tank9 + it’s 2009 = youtube = fan-made videos = 4 free. Totally digging this one: Mika Miko is high-fi lo-psychadelica from L.A. whose rhythms and staccato guitars recall late 1970s bands like Delta 5, Liliput and the Raincoats. Totion, off their We Be Xuxa second full-length, brings u nice inter-layered yells and chants, plus Lichtenberg wardrobe.
